How to play Aurora
Read the full guide
Aurora lane gets much sharper when you tag the minion they have to walk up for, weave the extra auto, and let passive contact keep the trade alive instead of treating Q like a one-and-done poke spell .
Save W for the opponent's answer, not your own opener, because Aurora feels unfair when she disappears after first contact, dodges the key return spell, and reappears on the side that makes Q or R hard to leave cleanly .
Use side waves to pull someone out of place and then move first into river mouths, jungle entrances, and objective setups, where Aurora's R turns the next few steps into bad exits and keeps her useful deeper into the game than her "must snowball" reputation suggests .
Side-lane just far enough to force a response, then treat that response as your timer to leave first. Push the extra wave when you know where the obvious threats are, but do not stay married to the lane waiting for a full duel unless the map is empty and clean. Aurora gets more from making someone show, then arriving early to river, jungle entrances, or the next objective setup where R can ruin exits. If vision is poor or you are behind, shorten the side trip even more: catch, trim, move. The wave is there to bend the map, not to keep you away from the fight.
Aurora's spells and attacks exorcise spirits from the enemies she damages. Exorcised spirits follow Aurora around and heal her.
Aurora sends out a missile that curses any enemies it hits. She can then recast the ability to draw active curses back toward herself, damaging foes who are hit along the way.
Aurora leaps in a direction of her choosing, entering the spirit realm upon landing, becoming invisible, and gaining Move Speed for a short duration of time.
Aurora converges the realms, sending out a blast of spirit magic that damages and slows enemies before Aurora hops backward to safety.
Aurora leaps in a direction of her choosing, releasing a shockwave that damages and slows any enemies it hits. Afterward, she creates an area that slows enemies within it and allows Aurora to teleport from one side of the area to the other.
