How to play Cho'Gath
Read the full guide
In lane, tax every melee walk-up with E chip, use W to cut off the dash, shield, or counter-cast that would rescue the trade, and aim Q on the path they have to take rather than on the model
Feast should often go into a minion when no fight or spawn is close, but near grubs, Herald, dragon, or Baron it becomes part of Cho's objective control, and in tight all-ins R can auto-reset earlier than the textbook execute to close the kill window
Cho is most reliable where people cannot sidestep freely, like ramps, pit mouths, and tower approaches, because Q only has to cover the line they must cross and W can blank the diver's cast window before they dump damage
If nothing important is happening soon, spend it and keep the stack curve moving; the mistake is sitting on Feast for two waves because you are waiting for a perfect champion kill that never arrives. Hold it when the next minute is actually live, meaning grubs, Herald, dragon, a likely jungle fight, or a lane all-in where the reset and burst can decide the trade immediately. In lane, ask whether the extra stack now gives you more than the threat of lethal in the next wave or two. Around objectives, the answer is usually no. Around quiet waves, the answer is usually yes.
Whenever Cho'Gath kills a unit, he recovers Health and Mana. The values restored increase with Cho'Gath's level.
Ruptures the ground at target location, popping enemy units into the air, dealing damage and slowing them.
Cho'Gath unleashes a terrible scream at enemies in a cone, dealing magic damage and Silencing enemies for a few seconds.
Cho'Gath's attacks release deadly spikes, dealing damage and slowing all enemy units in front of him.
Devours an enemy unit, dealing a high amount of true damage. If the target is killed, Cho'Gath grows, gaining maximum Health.
